Interior and exterior elements such as window
boxes, a pergola, or trellis, add that extra touch
that can change the boring to extrordinary! From
trim work, to a carved fireplace mantel, no job
is too unusual. It's amazing what a little dressing
up can do to a room's appeal.
I may not have ended up working in wood, if it were
not for my years as a custom framer. I currently
build custom frames with an arts and crafts, Asian
or, art nouveau style. I favor simple streamlined designs, accented with mortise and tenon, dowel, or
spline joinery. My carved frames work nicely on mirrors.
